We are seeking a skilled and driven Data Engineering to join our global Data Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing business intelligence solutions with a focus SAP technologies (SAP BW, BO, BODS), while closely collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions in the cloud environment, mainly using AWS. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and solution-oriented individual to make an impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Implementation: Develop and implement robust and scalable BI solutions using SAP BW, BusinessObjects (BO), and SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) to meet business and technical requirements.

• Data Integration & Extraction: Work closely with the Data Engineering team to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into AWS cloud-based storage and systems.

• Cloud Data Processing: Leverage AWS technologies to efficiently store and process large datasets, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary interface between Data Engineering and others Technical teams, ensuring smooth data flow between SAP tools and AWS data environments.

• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize Data Engineering processes, focusing on data extraction, transformation, and reporting performance.

• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to data quality, extraction failures, and system performance, mainly in the context of SAP BW.

• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and actively share knowledge with team members to enhance team capabilities.

Requisitos Obrigatórios

Experiência Profissional *

• SAP BI Stack Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with SAP BW, SAP BusinessObjects (BO and SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS)).

• Data Modeling & ETL: Solid understanding of data modeling techniques, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.

• SQL & Data Querying: Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.

• Scripting & Automation: Experience with Python, Scala, Shell scripting, or other automation tools for data pipeline management.

Performance Tuning: Ability to optimize ETL processes for efficiency and scalability, mainly the BW process chain.

• Cloud Computing (AWS): Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, EC2) and how to integrate with data processing pipelines in the cloud.
