APPLICATION ENGINEER

DESCRIPTION

Our customer is looking for an creative engineer to apply innovative conveyance solutions to automated systems. Equipment Application Engineers optimize customers’ conveyor system layouts and processes with technology.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or similar engineering

Language fluency/advanced in English and Spanish.

Familiar with electrical control systems and with automated systems.

Previous proven experience engineering field and Customer-facing experience

Computer proficiency with demonstrated experience in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint), and CAD;

Ability to travel including some weekends as required

Strong project management and collaboration skills including planning, leadership, and team building.

Mobility to Indaiatuba/SP region.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support account teams and work directly with customers to offer optimized equipment solutions.

• Develop layout drawings, determine appropriate scope, and estimate costs

• Interpret customer specifications and make recommendations based on value and performance.

• Evaluate and mitigate technical risk involved in projects.

• Build in-depth understanding of equipment capabilities and value.

• Contribute ideas to the development of new applications and create test plans for new solutions.

• Work with internal teams to ensure successful execution of projects.

• Up to 30% travel is required for customer visits, system troubleshooting, and training.
