As our Lead Software Engineer, you’ll be the architect of transformation, taking established B2B products and reimagining them as cutting-edge, AI-enhanced cloud applications. You’ll harness the power of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to create systems that don’t just run—they evolve, adapt, and perfect themselves.

What You Will Be Doing

• Pioneer next-generation software solutions by masterfully orchestrating AI analysis tools and RAG vector stores to eliminate defects before they become problems

Lead Software Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the development of AI-powered features that revolutionize service provider workflows and deliver unprecedented efficiency gains through innovative tooling

Basic Requirements

• Demonstrated AI-First Philosophy: You must inherently understand that AI isn’t just a tool—it’s your first collaborator in the development process
• Minimum 4 years of battle-tested experience crafting production-grade server-side web applications
• Proven track record developing mission-critical B2B software solutions
• Deep expertise in cloud-native and serverless architecture, particularly within the AWS ecosystem
• Advanced proficiency with GenAI code assistants (Github Copilot, Cursor.sh, v0.dev)
• Documented success stories implementing Generative AI solutions with measurable business impact

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
