Logistics & Warehouse Manager – Araucária

We are currently hiring an exceptional Logistics and Warehouse Manager, LATAM. This position will be based in our Araucaria site. As the Logistics and Warehouse Manager, you will be a member of the Management Team (MT) for Global Logistics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide operational and strategic contribution to the Global Logistics MT by taking part in the development and execution of the Global Logistics vision and strategy in order to realize the Global Logistics business goals.
• Manage all logistics resources, whether internal or external (including third party warehouses) to ensure for end customer, distributor or other OPCO’s to be delivered on time, in full, and according the Corbion quality standards and service levels as well as against the lowers costs possible.
• Communicate, with proper anticipation, with demand management in case of tight supply situations or shortages to ensure proper management of the situation with customers.
• Work with demand management to understand the demand trends and anticipate on logistics resources to support business growth in the region.
• Bring the Logistics point of view and expertise to regional review meetings, S&OP and quarterly commercial meetings.
• Responsible for day-to-day Logistics operations in LATAM, including shipments and flows within the region, exports from LATAM to the rest of the world and imports into LATAM.
• Lead the logistics continuous improvement activities within LATAM by leading the implementation, optimization and cost reduction of new and existing supply chains.
• Responsible for the overall department reporting according to the Corbion standards.
• Responsible for all Logistics projects within the LATAM region. Representing the LATAM region in the global Logistics projects where the region is involved.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or similar. Master’s degree considered a plus.
• 5+ years’ experience in supply chain, required.
• Exceptional people management experience and the ability to motivate others, required.
• Prior supply chain/operations, warehousing and transportation experience.
• Knowledge and experience with export/import in international commerce and customs.
• Customer oriented.
• Capable of working in a changing environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in written and verbal biçim.
• Must be able to work cross functionally with colleagues at other Corbion sites.
• Results driven.
• Fluence in Portuguese, English and Spanish is requested.
