Product Specialist – Ponta Grossa

Our client is a multinational company, a global leader in providing solutions for the automotive sector, known for innovation and quality.

We are looking for a Product Specialist to work on high-technical complexity projects. This person will be responsible for understanding the demands while interacting with both external and internal clients (such as Purchasing and Quality departments, etc.) to assess the feasibility of the business. Furthermore, the specialist initiates and implements action plans for continuous improvement of all products industrialization.

This person will be responsible for:

• Product Industrialization and Project Management: oversee product industrialization to meet customer expectations, manage ramp-up or change projects for new products, materials, or processes, and ensure product specifications, flow charts, and work instructions are updated according to standards;
• Continuous Improvement and Innovation: lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives using CBS methods, apply structured problem-solving, and identify and implement product optimization opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity;
• Cost Management and Budgeting: prepare, review, and control costs related to product industrialization, estimate costs for new products, manage cost-reduction programs, and implement cost-saving activities;
• Quality and Compliance: Address and resolve quality issues, support product testing, customer releases (e.g., PPAP), and ensure adherence to production standards, safety protocols, and quality requirements;
• Training, Reporting, and Performance Monitoring: Develop and deliver training programs, monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for product industrialization, and ensure compliance with process FMEAs and local standards.
