Program Manager

The ideal candidate will have a decent understanding of the Brazilian startup ecosystem, as well as the broad challenges that international companies face when entering the market.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and execute programs that provide hands-on support, mentorship, and access to networks, ensuring the success of international startups in Brazil.

Location : Office in Sao Paulo Job Function : Full-time Start : Immediately Compensation : Commensurate with job experience Responsibilities Include: Work collaboratively with the program and operations team to prepare, execute, report on and continously improve the entire program including: Onboarding and briefing of the startups Market research and stakeholder outreach for startups in specific industries in Brazil Facilitation of workshops Facilitation of meetings with mentors and other ecosystem stakeholders, consolidation of learnings of the startups as well as feedback from mentors for individual startup reports In the event of market immersion trips (in-country programs), plan and organize the trips Represent Start2 Group in Brazil by attending regional events and receiving customers or partners in the local office Support the management and further development of a comprehensive and supportive mentor and partner network in Brazil to provide a safe sounding board for our startups The ideal candidate: Is very well organized, diligent and reliable to plan, manage, and execute programs, events, and other initiatives, ensuring operational excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Is a fast learner, confident in presenting to and engaging with external stakeholders Possesses a positive attitude and thrives in a team environment Is a self-starter and forward-thinking Is highly flexible and adaptable; able to juggle multiple projects efficiently with a can-do, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude across multiple time zones Exhibits cross-cultural awareness, understanding, and sensitivity Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from a reputable educational institution in Business, Entrepreneurship, or equivalent 3+ years of experience in program management, entrepreneurship, ideally with a focus on international startups or scaling businesses Connected in the innovation and startup ecosystem of Brazil Familiarity with CRM and other systems (HubSpot, Airtable, Notion) Excellent command of written and spoken Portuguese and English in a business context Ability to speak/read Spanish or German is a plus Authorized to work in Brazil Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed What We Offer: A highly entrepreneurial team, eager to help startups to scale internationally and to act with high autonomy while always supporting each other Flat hierarchies with lots of room for personal impact and individual development A tremendous network in the startup ecosystem, close interaction and regular engagement with entrepreneurs and innovation stakeholders International working environment and central office locations How to Apply: Please submit your application via email to Katrina Marsters at the address below by May 30, 2025.
